    Tamiya 1/35 Churchill VII

Hey guys, I made a tank! Yaayy!!, it's the venerable 1970's vintage Churchill kit which is still brilliant today, went together without a hitch! Says a lot for Tamiya and how far ahead of the game they were back then

Little point in posting a build thread, it's been done a squillion times and there are multiple YouTube builds too. But, it's not quite finished

So, which regiment of these fine chaps should I complete the build as?

    Or. . . . .

I think we all know the answer to which option I'll choose to complete this one,

I can't find a build thread for any of these kits anywhere, so I'll post my progress here

It's an extra super fiddly thing, but, tanks gotta be crude. . . I mean crewed! Ha!

Interested to see how this turns out. Girls und Panzer is certainly different and strangely very popular.

Yep, it's as ridiculous as it is brilliant, I've become a bit obsessed by it, to the extent I've bought the BluRay discs (for research, naturally! Ha!) and a bundle of stuff from AliExpress, decal sets and what appear to be Chinese copies of Platz kits of the various tank crews, all at a tenth of the price! I didn't know they were copies until later!

That said, it's a 'slice of life' story of friendship and camaraderie loyalty and determination showing persistence pays off and the underdog gets a shot at the title!

Along with surprisingly accurate tanks, historical references and hilarious national stereotypes!

Missus Miko spotted me eyeing up a PlayStation PS4 game 'Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match', her look and deep sigh had me had me close that particular Amazon tab!

Still managed to 'add to basket' while she wasn't looking! Ha!. . . Full disclosure, I don't have a PS4 !!

        See what I mean . . . Obsessed!

Miko (off to price up PS4 consoles!)

Finest Wedgewood 'willow pattern' blue doesn't seem to appear in the range of any modeller paint manufacturer I can find, and the exact shade of four minute steeped Ceylon 'orange pekoe' is proving tricky to find too! On a positive note, the teacups are less than 2mm, so I won't need a big tin! Ha!

Got the first three 'Das Finale' BluRay disks today, I've been holding off buying them, but prompted by todays thread right here, I thought 'what the heck'!
Disappointed 'Das Finale 4' isn't available just yet despite being released in Japan in October 2023, part five is due for release later this year!

Yep, it's looking likely, depending on which one of the three in the PS4 range they vary from between a little over £100 for a regular console to around £200 for the super amazing 1Tb all singing all dancing version. . . However, my local 'Cex' store has the 'super' version for the price of the regular version

And then there's the game itself, of which there are different versions, a 'premium' version' being more than the standard version which is on amazon right now at fifty quid!

So, if I buy a 'used' console and game, with what I save I can buy another tank! Result! I need a Tamiya M3 Lee which is discontinued at the minute and the ones on eBay are crazy prices!

Miko (like I said, obsessed, but happy)
