      Thanks Aaron, Phil & Polux!

I don't usually go for big dios, but this will be an exception! Here's a sneaky peek

      I know they're 1945, but they'll do!

The tiger Patrick is looking the dogs biscuits. Had to catch up with the thread but what I've seen oozes awesome work. The paint layers to begin with looked good then I thought you'd lost it but now I see its al come together and I see the point.

I'm not 100 sure but I think I read in s ref book the barrels were changed out after so many firings or when rifling was off ( don't quote menas I may be wrong but I think that may be reason on the barrel not being uniform with the camo

        Regards

        Robert

Thanks Robert! It's true that barrels were replaced, this one is in the primer grey - never red oxide!

            Great job so far Patrick,

Great work on the camo pattern, and those figurines will make the perfect addition to your diorama, I am sure of that.

            Cheers Richi

Nice work Patrick, camo is looking great, and a good choice for the figures

Which kind of diorama you have in mind Patrick?

                      If I can ask

                        You can ask Polux!

I'm thinking of the dreaded Miniart buildings! Essentially it'll be a big board (nicely finished around the edges!) with either 2 buildings or 1 building & a wall.

The Germans will be really-loading the Tiger's ammo as the commander discusses the next move with the panzer grenadiers.

Behind the wall/building, a group of plucky Tommies will be preparing to shove a PIAT round up the Tiger's bum! If I can find a 1/35 PIAT that is!

An update on this one ... we now have wheels & tracks on! the wheels will get some proper weathering once I've decided on the overall look - dusty or muddy.

Also I've begun the pin washes
