1/35 Italeri sd kfz 234/2

Hey, I thought I'd add the latest update of my 234/2 armoured recce here, instead of on http://www.scale-models.co.uk/thread...-2-puma.31952/! ops:

    Hull assembly thus far:

    And turret:

Still some cleaning up to do, and I've got to get some practice with my spray gun setup prior to painting this one - then I can start adding the accessories and bits n bobs...

I also have some ideas about a diorama too, so watch this space!

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone The builds been fun, but progress pics have been haphazard!

Chassis with rear wheels set at turn...

A bit of customising - original headlight vs accident damaged unit...

                And modded stowage bin doors...

I'll make sure to document the next build/dio properly :P

I've got PE envy, lol so I've been looking at modding some bits to add.

Spent a little while searching for cabling info for smoke grenades and headlights without success, so came up with this:

Then I stumbled across a photo that shows the smoke grenades had just one control cable/ducting (it's not clear) Looks like I'll be redoing that bit then!

Hey Dougie, iI's an Iwata Revolution SAR, with the 'Silver Jet' compressor.

Got it on eBay, as it was cheap, and local, not entirely sure what I'm doing - but I will need a siphon bottle at least before I can start practising, d'oh!

Sounds good, the siphon bottle will also be good for larger areas and allow you to see what your doing better with fine details. I have a gravity feed and I need a bigger cup at times, which you won't

Looking good so far Kris. I'm liking the mods.

                        Cheers Paul
