Really like this kit a lot, will you improvise removable engine cover panels to show the excellent engine detail, which can be enhanced with scratched up fuel, oil, water and vacuum lines? I think that would look fantastic!.............Jim

Not this time Jim. However, the kit is really worth doing that way and I may look at another for a future project. This one is destined for a simple diorama.
To be honest, this kit has been sitting in the stash for ages, I never realised just how good a kit it is. Potentially The best HobbyBoss kit to date and that is saying something.
Understandable, but boy that is a great kit no doubt, I really like the old WW2 artillery tractors of all countries and the WW1 tractors?.....well... that's the stuff dreams are made of 9_9
Nearly there. It is now painted up, apart from tracks and the headlights, mirrors, tools etc. The doors are finished, one side will be closed and the other folded open. Tarp to made to cover rear box and then it can be glued up to await weathering.
Now I wish I'd kept the one I used to have! That looks really good. I sold mine 'cos I wanted to show it with a cannon - but I couldn't find one suitable! They do another version of this for the 8" gun which is available, but I couldn't find any 90mm guns.
Great progress, Looks good, be great to see this in situ on the diorama. I've had one of these in my stash for years now, I've been toying with the idea of putting it with the long Tom or an 88m flak with it but unfortunately it is still sitting there gathering dust! Your dio may be the inspiration I need!

All I can say is build it. It is a great kit, loads of potential for super detailing if you want and it really does not need a gun behind it. I have seen a picture of one towing sn 88 though so that would be interesting.
