    Hi Richard,

She is looking real nice and I figured you did have a plan. Normally the tracks for these two kits are too long. Great job with the pins. I too, bought the Hobby Boss tracks to replace the kit tracks. They do require a lot of cleanup though......

I have a question, how come you can pay with Reich Marks in your neck of the woods and how much is RM 29,90 in todays currency???
Life's to short to be a sheep...

I suspect they’re Malaysian ringgits, worth 21.4157666 eurocents each as I type this, so 29.90 of them equals €6.40.

If I check a couple of web sites, what you paid for them seems to be a little less than what they cost in the EU — I see prices like €6.61, €7.50, €7.99 (from Revell, of all people), etc. for this set. OTOH, does Malaysia have European-style VAT or American-style sales tax? If the latter, the RM 29.90 price would probably go up when you actually buy it.

Steve I though you would ask the question " are you having 3 part camo " :nerd:

            Sorry Richard,
Its looking good , I can't remember it either, are you sure you posted it on the forum we don't mention, or some where else. :smiling5:

              Richard,
This is coming along very nicely. Pinning the tracks takes me back to the early Tamiya offerings, one method was to thread cotton through the top and tie off at the bottom - Panther, Tiger, M113 to name a few.
              Cheers, Mike.

Richard some good helpful tips there, esp the pins through the body to hold the tracks. Thank you.
Referring back to the AB settings ,Jim has a really nice H&S Infinity which will allow him to set the flow, so this should help.

                    Thanks Gentelmen,

John, I'm very sure I did...I remember Dave saying that these tracks will not look good even if I tried pinning them.
Mike, oh dear it really shows our age doesn't it working with rubber tracks. :smiling2:
Paul, unfortunately can't do anything about its ugly shape.

Here is what it looks under some black paint and with the super structure over it...

No Richard, they are not expensive, but the point was missed that RM = Reich Mark and was the German currency through WWII, You are building a vehicle used by the Germans and parts bought for it were paid with RMs for sure. I know what currency you use in Malaysia...

I guess that joke just flew over everyone's head!!! I do find it crazy though.....BTW This ugly is looking fine Sir. Drive on!!!

Allen, ya it certainly flew way over...I suddenly realised they use DM in Germany now. When you posted that comment I was thinking the RM=Reich Mark was a pun. :smiling5: Thanks...Germans drive on the right...we drive on the left.:smiling2:
