Only a little bit done today. The hull roof was finished off. Again only a little done just enough to add some interest when looking in the hatches.

Also added a tin Hat, a sten gun, a map and magazine to the lower hull. Not sure what will be seen when all buttoned up.

I have just noticed I have fitted the two right hand hatches in the upper hull in the wrong way. I will have to try and remove these tomorrow in fact I'm not happy with any of the hatches.

        Hi Scottie
That's a really nice interior. Hope most of it can be seen through the hatches.

          Hi Scottie,
That looks the dogs doodahs, and if you had not mentioned it I would never have guessed about the hatches.
          Mike.

The interior is very impressive. I hope the changing of the hatches doesn't cause too much disruption. Wonderful work mate.

No worries mate it is always hard to keep up. I catch a lot of builds when they are well underway.

Thanks Mike I have managed to remove them and refit but on checking the instructions it does show them being placed on the outside but everything about them says fit from the inside.

Thanks Steve I have managed to remove them and refit but the etch hatch clamps I think are beyond repair.

Hi Scottie - what are the handlebars for on the roof? Hatch levers?

Simon as far as I Can make out it is a remote for the bren gun which mounts on the top.

Pleased to read that! I 'liked' all I was seeing in the photos but was feeling for you having to remove them. PHEW!

why engineer a gun mount when you can just use the bars off someones bike :smiling5:

Luckily I do use glue sparingly so it wasn't the battle I thought it might be.

I have managed to effect a repair and the hatches are now all fitted correctly. I managed to salvage two of the etch hatch clamps and fitted these to the two most likely to be seen if looking inside. The main thing is they are correct from the outside. Just a bit of weathering to redo.

Next some brake lines from lead wire. I also beefed up the axle stub as the kit ones were not very strong.

And finally the valves on the wheels, I might change these for plastic rod.

                                Nice work Scottie :thumb2:
