I was SURE i`d commented on this,(one of my "Must Haves"),before,but obviously not!!:anguished:
Sorry about that Buddy..... It`s been a great follow,and i must say that i think you`re making a cracking job of it so far mate,
As i said earlier,i love these AFV`s,and have tried attaining one for ages now,(They`re quite pricey aren`t they?!).
Did you get this one from Ebay?...... As i was bidding on one in early December,but didn`t see it through to the end time!!:flushed:
Anyway,that`s just me being nosey!!....
SUPERB work all round on this one mate,it`s gonna be a cracker!!:thumb2::thumb2:,

That chassis is looking superb. Very intricate and pretty fragile.

The kit ones can look ok but another reason I like to replace then where possible is I do use them to tie things down by passing the strap/rope through them.

I usually just glue the strap right next to the tie-down Your method would be more accurate-looking, of course.

This is fighting me all the way. The panels are moulded very thin which is great for scale but also makes them very soft and flexible. There is also a lack of location points. All that said it is quite detailed.

I have added a little wiring and piping to the bulkhead not strictly accurate but will hope fully add some interest, these will be attached to the engine or tucked out of the way.






the kit dash was replaced by the etch offering. The switches and knobs were then added, from plastic and bits from the spares box. The dials have been blanked off with masking tape the small dial will be masked when painting takes place.

That does look flimsy. Your doing a great job. Dont use masking fluid to mask off the dials. I did that once and it all seeped into the dials and ruined them. Keep up the great work my friend
