It had been my intention to airbrush the camo scheme, but I realise the upper hull has so many hatches & holes it's going to be easier to brush paint ( not to mention how small it is )

I really don't fancy sitting next to that engine. It must have been very noisy and hot.

Well, not to mention boxes full of ammunition & a petrol tank close enough to touch!

Wow, haven’t seen one of those for years and years.....probably ideal for inner city driving these days. It solved problems the Smart car hasn’t even thought about yet.....

It was OK until someone parked to close to the front then you couldn't get in it.

All very nice - until you had an accident! No protection at all - at least on a motorbike you had a helmet!

I think the idea was to park end-on so you exited straight onto the pavement!

Absolutely right!! Safety was a bit of second thought back then, no one wore seat belts if they had a car with them!

The astounding thing is that in 1926 so many were killed, when there were so few cars on the road!! You can understand the peak in the war years, with the blackout.
Seatbelts had to be fitted to new cars from 1968, and compulsory worn in 1983. Considering the number of cars on the road, the death rate is low.............

Detail painted the lower hull & tracks, before I add the upper hull - there are several puzzles to work out - like how the engine exhaust connects to the silencer ( and can you see it! )

Tracks a bit shiny, but I'll kill that with Matt Varnish................
