I think you described her Rudge as 500cc previously?

Lots of things happening here at the Towers.
For one the track road wheels have all been changed to spoked and the track guards have again been altered. Some mistakes by the kit manufacture are the cause after I had read my T60 bible.
Not that any one would or me would have really bothered, but looking at the book is to blame :nerd:.

Fruils are done, just waiting for some treatment to arrive tomorrow and then some more painting can begin.

A few ideas for the diorama base in mind.

Thanks buddy.Well being retired Ron let's me have all the time I want. Plus I really love being creative, beats sitting doing nothing.

Thanks Rick for explaining to Ron who Matron is. A couple of photos for you .
This one shows Matron in the side car on the annual hypodermic needle throwing championships at Clapham common 1998.

This one shows her today ridding her Rudge 500cc
Thanks to Paul for pointing out the incorrect cc of the Rudge .
Looking at those smirks on the sidecars they caught someone bending! As to the rudge, my sister in law has a photo of her gran riding a similar machine….she’s even dressed the same.

Stay tuned:nerd:

Now tell me,yesterday I burnished the tracks, washed and laid them out to dry. Then put on a tile on the bench and laid them side by side , both the same lenght. This morning I looked and one is 3 links short ?
Answers please. Now got to add those three links and burnish them to match

Strange goings on indeed. Maybe the carpet monster in you neck of the woods has learned how to climb. Very strange indeed.

Think your right Jim, I swear the tracks were the same length when I left them.

3 links are in the fluid as I write, leave them too long and they will either go completely black or be eaten away

... and I thought it was only me :tears-of-joy: :tears-of-joy: . It happens all the time mate. The worst thing is I add on the extra links to make them equal again and then when I add them onto the model they are too long!! Whats that all about??? Its an age thing mate and your not alone.

However we do live with a ghost/ghosts in our house. We have had several unexplained situations that have arisen over the years. For example, once every time Lisa turned the light on in the kitchen, the light on my phone came on. When she turned it off the light on my phone went off. This happened several times for different lengths of time of turning the light on and off. However when we put other lights on in the house nothing happened. Our favourite one relates to Lisa's phone case where she keeps all our credit and debit cards. When she came down one morning they had been taken out of the phone case and stacked neatly behind the lounge table leg. Fortunately they are friendly ghost/ghosts so we don't mind. Happy Halloween!
