Ok Lee, I've made you an appointment at Spec Savers for next Wednesday @ 10:15, if you're not already blind by then Buddy. I'll try to follow this build, but my Opti only goes up to 3.5x. Please make your progress pics as large as possible...Thanks!!!...

Pay them no mind Lee, they're just jealous cause they can't see past the end of their collective noses! If one can build a convincing model in 1-87 scale one can do it in any larger scale.....the reverse however, is not always the case.:thumb2:

I struggle with most scales but as this one goes, I'll see what the guide dog can do Rick...

Alrighty, the guide dog is having the rest of the night off... it's also off to Spec Savers tomorrow!
Here is what I'm using for any handles or small bits that need thin wire...

Yep, that's the wire you get in freezer/ sandwich bags!
Here's what it looks like without any mods added...

Now for the dustbin lid cupola hatch, molded on handles, nooooo they look too poopy so I've got myself some wire from an appliance (hope swmbo doesn't notice her GHDs cable is shorter!:anguished
As you can see it's a WIP, the bracket that holds the handle has been drilled out with a ridiculously small drill bit! Appliance wire threaded and glued!

C'mon Lee, it's not that bad.....and good progress so far. I've never built one of these "Bebackthing" Panthers, so it's gonna be fun to watch. :thumb2:

                    Thanks Rick.
I've never built one of these contraptions in any scale so it's new to me too!
I forgot to mention that I had drilled abiut 5mm in to the barrel too.
I dont know about washing my eyes with ajax, think I might leave them to soak!
