An acrylic varnish would have done the job John but I actually used a lacquer / solvent based one in his case.
As long as it's something the enamel thinner / white spirit etc won't reactivate it'll work fine.
Paint chemistry is a huge subject and the different terminologies used in different hobbies even have me scratching my head at times :thinking: and I certainly daren't go into it on this forum as you know how badly I'll get cross examined by some :smiling5:Comment

That is looking the business. You can go a lot further if you want, by the way — even “just” on exercise, tanks get very filthy if the weather is right.Comment

I've done a bit more work to this with some (probably too subtle) streaking, and I've tried to define the many anti slip panels a bit better.
I'm sure I could do more but it's probably about as finished as it comes for one of mine :smiling5:
A nice little kit for someone that's just looking for a quick refresher.
