Thanks Ian, i'm having fun with this one...

Accessories all in place and turrets had a "road grime" wash as per the hull.

There's decals needing to be placed on the baskets at the rear of the turret, this can be done .. but will be a bit fragile and not very authentic looking at scale so i've made up two boards that will be attached to baskets and have the decals applied to.

Lastly the ariels, they needed to have the attenuator/booster coil near the centre so i came up with this ... it's bristles from a sweeping brush and the insulation from telephone wire for the coil ... makes them 4inches long - not far off scale at 12ft.

Got the figures painted and ready for a wash just to add some high and low-lights.

Made a base up, just a simple job with a sandy track, a bit of grass and some heathery bracken to break it up a bit.

Looking great Colin. As I'm doing my first AFV I'm starting to notice all the details.

I never realised how "faffy" they were - so many little bits !!!!

                  Tony.

                    Thanks Tony.

There's more than just a top and bottom to them thats for sure.... the later the vehicle the more faffy bits it seems .

I think if they were just basic the interest in building them would fall off to be honest.

well its done. got the boards on the back for the decals (which is the only thing I think they should have added into the kit, would have made sense). planted it on the base and have the figures in position. give it tonight to dry off fully and pictures will be done tomorrow. all in all a good kit. went together really nicely. loads of detailing on the plastic and in the form of extra little bits such as door handles etc.

looking forward to making the K1 A1 for the modern armour GB now, if its half as good as this ill be well happy.
