well I have made a start on the lower hull it is going to be a fair size when finished. The only problem I have had so far is to make sure the roller mounts are the right way round .

                  That is a chunky beast!

Does it use the Chieftain chassis?

well I have made steady progress and just a few little problems so far , its a nice kit well moulded I have fitted a rb barrel and it is a lot nicer than the plastic one.

Patrick it seems that the turret and chassis were designed by Vickers out of the cancelled sp70 project and developed into the as90, the chassis shares components with the challenger mbt and developed in stages to the present day apparently it is going to around until 2023 .
