Nice image, but they are far more likely to be built in transport mode to go on gauge 1 rail cars. :smiling:Comment

I actually have a Zwilling from Takom. Don't have that kind of plan, though, but at the same time I do not know what to do with it.Comment

Now that would be a model I’d like to see, a 1:35 scale Flakturm. Take your pick which one:

The one on the left was 70.5 m × 70.5 m × 39 m, so that makes almost a nice, round 2 × 2 metres diorama that only has to be about 125 cm tall including the guns. Piece of cake!
Though now I’m seriously wondering if there are 1:300 or 1:285 scale 12,8 cm FlaK guns, which would make a thing like this actually feasible

No problem, guys. I wasn't that bothered by the scenarios, just thought I would not be doing it. Suggestions and input are always welcome!Comment

Step 9 and thus the gun itself completed :smiling4: So far, it has been an almost entirely troublefree build with no guesswork. The placement of seat D21 on C29 had me wondering how far I should push the seat pin in, but I just decided to put it all the way and it seems to sit just fine. When the round mount is put underneath, I can cut a bit of the pin off without it being noticeable if I have to. Note! You should place C5 before C28 onto the gun, but I managef to squeeze C5 in behind it anyway.
It is definitely looking awesome and detailed! Well done, Dragon of 2005!

Unluckily, I lost the engine hood for the Maultier :-( Now, I am not sure how to finish it.
I paint using spray cans, then brushed for details and wash, so I am not at all troubled by the detail level here ;-)Comment
