Just a small update. I replaced the coffer grinder handle with a cranked version. For strength I drilled out both ends and used copped wire to secure the handle and both ends. The hasps were modified and the third one added. I didn't have another etch one so made it out of a bit of evergreen sheet. I also removed the very badly moulded weld beads and replaced then with stretched sprue.
On the other end I have added a crank handle which I presume locks the brakes on. This was again added form some flattened copper wire and drilled out both ends to accept a bit of copper wore for strength.
