I found this metal die cast model on a cast toys web site. I was surprised that it was 1/87 scale and even more surprised at the level of detail that it possessed for being so small and made of pot metal. They had two in stock, I bought them both and wished they had more. I carefully disassembled one of these little cuties and soda blasted the thick toy like paintjob while saving the grill/radiator mask as it is so telling to the vehicle make. While painting my GAZ AA ambulances I threw this into the mix and am now presently in the final assembly stage. The cargo bed did not come with a tarp cover so I made Bows out of flat brass and laid on tissue paper for the tarp. There are still other details to add but this is my progress so far...
