    Book Nook station

    Hi all

I haven't built anything for ages so I thought I would get back with something easy. I found this wooden book nook thingy. So far I am very impressed. Everything you need is in the box even a little screw driver and the glue. It comes with a full LED lighting kit and beautifully rendered MDF pieces.

So far I have built the little train, I think it looks great considering it is only 4 inches long.

Looks good. I built one earlier in the year and thought it was great fun. The quality is exemplary as you say. Reminded me of a 3D jigsaw puzzle with glue…..

That does look interesting. I watch a YouTube channel called NerdForge who make this kind of thing.

            Thanks for the interest guys.

Part 2 of this fun build the start of the station platform. I have to repeat that this is a great little kit., the pieces fit like a dream and the overall effect gets better and better.

3rd and final part. About 6 hours to build and, despite a few fiddly bits, a real pleasure.

The lights work with a touch sensor under the little symbol at the front of the platform.

And by the use of mirrors etc the whole scene has an infinite depth.

I really like that John. The detail is amazing. I think I need a book case. Just as I typed this, the wife leans in and thinks it's amazing as well.

Thanks Colin and Paul, I bet your wife would enjoy building it. It costs about $70 over here maybe 50 pounds. About the same cost as a round of golf, lasts a little longer and is much more satisfying, at least for me.
