    Airfix Bullfinches

    While I’m waiting for some paint’s and figures for the LAV III I’m going to start this one. I did there Kingfisher kit some years ago and really enjoyed myself doing it. Not many parts but it’s going to be the painting that’s going to make or break it.

        Interesting choice. I never realised Airfix did these until I saw one a few years ago. Great birds Bullfinches. We always get a pair in out garden towards the end of Winter…..

            I can remember these from when they came out back in the day.... Not sure if i had a go at them..... This will be fun to watch

              Brilliant Ian, I’ve thought of getting some of the bird kits from Airfix myself so will be interested to see how they turn out 😊

                  Well I’ve made a start to this build, I’ve got the log/branches glued together, also got the flowers ready for painting and painted the inside of the bullfinches beaks and head, so you can’t see any white when put together.

                            Great progress ian , i had these as a kid and loved doing them , at that age any kit subject was fair game ,-planes , tanks , birds , dinosaurs etc!
