    Glue for foil

As the title suggests. I will be attaching some gold foil to plastic on my current build. I have just experimented with CA and UHU with poor results. If you have used foil what glue do you recommend please.

IIRC I used ca to attach the foil but it was Easter egg wrapping not the kit supplied foil. HTH.

I tried CA on the kit supplied stuff and the foil just pulled off the plastic when dry Stefan. Also tried kitchen foil with similar results.

Metal leaf adhesive is usually acrylic. The stuff I got with my gold leaf kit looks like really thin runny PVA when it goes on but it dries tacky similar to an impact adhesive before you brush on the gold leaf.

There's no info on the bottle label to give me a clue as to what's in it I'm afraid. Here's a screen shot of the kit.

Elma's white glue/PVA or 3M 77 Permanent Spray mount. The latter is quite pricey.

        Cheers,
