    Suggestions from the team

    Hi Team,

With Fathers day rapidly approaching Head office has informed me that the offspring want to buy me a special kit as a thank you for the past year helping them both out (not sure about that, just being a Dad!)

Anyway, I haven't a scooby, so any ssuggestions for a great kit, can be aircraft, armour etc but no ships and scale 1/48 and above.....just something that you've made before and it really impressed you...

    Thanks, as always, in advance.

(And yes, of course I'll get it from SMS!)

I have just done the Heller 1;24 Stuka which is the Airfix kit in a Heller box. Hands down the most enjoyable kit I have done. A few fit issues on the way, nothing major, and it has turned out my best work. Totally recommend it but its a big model when finished. I also did the Airfix 1;24 Spitfire 1a. That was a lovely kit and both would fit in nicely with the upcoming Battle Of Britain group build.

Ooh Steve, I think Del mentioned he'd prefer anything below 1/48 scale and no ships.

Del, anything that Airfix has produced with new tooling in 1/72 are lovely to build. Built the Spit, Tiger moth, Hurricane and Blenheim. The others are probably just as good.

    Cheers,

OK. I read it the other way around as 1:48 and above. My mistake.
