    Re-doing early Tiger....

Been looking at the couple of early models I did when I first got started back into scale modelling, including my Tiger tank (1:72 braille scale), which I think was my first proper attempt at weathering. Certainly no expert now, but looking back it was quite a poor effort! Lol.....

So, I'm revisiting it, and am gonna try again with the weathering and maybe add some stowage to the tank. Will see how it goes and will compare some early photos with how it turns out on 2nd attempt....

So a bit of progress, tank now weathered a bit better, and stowage painted up, gotta weather the stowage and then see where I'm gonna attached it. Then we'll have some "before" and "after" photos of the original Tiger and my 2nd attempt at it.

This is now finished, I think its an improvement on the original effort with this little Tiger.

My first attempt with the original had very light weathering and only a sort of "grime" wash.
On this 2nd attempt (with the same model) I re-scribed some of the lines/details and have added a grime wash, then a fuel wash and finally a rust wash, so its a bit heavier weathering and (hopefully) a bit more subtle.
The first attempt also had no stowage, just the plain tank and pioneer tools, (I have retouched those too).
The 2nd attempt now has added 3rd party 1:72/76 stowage items.

After a bit of research, it appears that they generally did not add much stowage to Tigers, unlike when you see, say, Shermans fully loaded up! All the photos I found had little to no stowage on the tanks, so I have therefore kept it fairly simple, plain and not overloaded it.

Anyway, enough waffle, here's some before and after photos, hopefully you will agree that the "after" photos were worth the extra effort and make a (slightly) better model....
NB: I have also tried to take these 2nd photos in roughly the same angles as the 1st photos, to get a good comparison.
