I use all three frequently Steve. Primarily I use them for canopy work, either polishing after removing seam lines or scratches, or a final buff after removing masking. I used it on my Lancaster to polish the wings. Work from Coarse through Fine, to Finishing. It will work on a varnished surface, just ensure the varnish has cured hard before you apply the compound. It will also work on painted surfaces, if the paint is durable enough. There is no need to rub hard.👍 2

Thanks Joe. I am struggling to get a decent finish on my gloss paint work on the "Blackjack" No matter how many coats of varnish I apply it still looks gritty in places under false light. This will be the first time I have used this product so just a bit nervous.I use all three frequently Steve. Just make sure to use a soft clean cloth and remove all of the previous compound before moving to the next one. When used on clear plastic this stuff can make it look as smooth as glass. On things like car bodies I polish with the red one before the final gloss varnish coat, then, once the gloss varnish has gassed off (about a week later) I work through all three grades. Gives a lovely glow to the paint.Comment

I use the coarse and fine for car & bike bodies, never needed the finish as the other 2 get the result I need. I do power polish with a Dremel and some of these though:

For mini electric Rotary tool use. Use with Polishing compounds and polishes of your choice. -Coarse pad(Green) x1, Medium pad(Blue) x1,Fine pad(Red) x1, Drill x1 -3mm column fit to electric grinder. -Use water clean after use. Just need to be careful on edges so you don't burn through the paint.Si vis pacem, para bellum.👍 2Comment
