Yeah he's got drybrushing down. Every seem is dark (assuming from a wash) then drybrushed highlight color over but leaving the depth. Nicely done.

Chris I do a pin was with a fine brush with oil paint I find it holds better in the panel line and any over spill is easier to remove with just a rub of a finger

Lovely paint job, I liked the new series but I do feel nostalgic about the original series.
