Revell 1/1200 Miniship Heavy Cruiser Prinz Eugen.

    Prinz Eugen

    These are great little ships.
Tiny, but with plenty of detail for their size.

With a bit of patience and a fair amount of work, the series make up into very acceptable models and are great fun to build.

Certainly not to be binned once completed.....

    All freehand brush painted.
Simple seascape using a bit of silicone...
    ........and a bit of rigging.

    Baltic cruising.....

Fantastic, looks great, also really like the staging and photos.
Have to say that I've really enjoyed building my two, (Bismarck and Scharnhorst) and hope my little Dio is half as good as yours....

Thanks for the positive posts, chaps.

Peter, what's this "Half as good as yours" Nonsense?

We each build our models to our own standards and if we can look at them and think 'I'm happy with that' then that is a good result.
There will always be folks better and not so better at 'stuff' than ourselves - That's life.
We all learn from each other, no more so than in this game. Which is why I enjoy this forum so much.

So be content in your own model making achievements and no more slightly negative waves!

        Here endeth the Lesson.

        Thank you.

Lovely Ron.Never built a ship in my life and maybe if i get the urge to venture into the maritime world these could fit the bill.Think our local hobby shop has a few ships from Tamiya etc.
          Nicely done.

Thanks to Jim and Richard for your most excellent comments.

Richard. Have a go at a ship. They are great fun to build with plenty of scope to 'Improve' the subject should you wish.

Incredible result Ron and the photos are just off scale. Your last photo made me smile. I just couldn't believe that you got such great results from something so small.
