This another of the Revell 1/1200 Miniship series. Probably one of the best where detail is concerned.

    All brush painted.

Thanks for the great comments boys.

Yamato is probably the best one of the series.

They all require some work and are a b***er to paint, but I still lurrve them.

Have a go at one - PLenty of bang for your bucks!

          Thanks again for your input.

                  Cheers, chaps....
Thank you for the nice posts.

Dave, no missus guest appearance for this one. I just held onto the aircraft's wing tips. She said she could never go chucking in a half a**ed manner!

Good fun builds, these diddy ships. Yet they still require a bit of fettling. The major fault is the hulls are way too deep/high and out of scale and either require burying a couple of mm. into a base or cutting off a strip of hull with a mini grinder. That said, they still make for an interesting, and satisfying build.

Here's my 1/1200 Scharnhorst getting a good grinding!

Thanks for your excellent post, JIm.

I'm chuffed Yamato passes muster. Probably close to the best of the Revell Miniship series.

                      Thanks again.
