Tirpitz in Faettenfjorden Norway. Winter 1942

Airfix 1/600 Tirpitz turned around and brush painted in her winter camouflage. I painted a water colour background on a large piece of card.

I'm trying to get myself back in the groove, so for starters, I painted the winter camo. on this!

Great stuff Ron. Love your background. A superb money saver as well - you just keep painting the same model to fit in with the season. Only downside, of course, is that in a few years you'll have a very fat Tirpitz :smiling2:

Excellent, Ron. The winter cammo really complements the summer one. Interesting to see the differences.

                      570 .
What can anyone add to the comments like that .
Matron was beside herself ( not a common occurrence ) and had to be given a large Gin. After rousing the Committee from the bar they fully agreed with her and have awarded you

                      Brilliant work , congratulations.

Very nice indeed Ron, the background really complements the camo on the ship.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.
