Lizzie visits Liverpool

I took a walk along the Mersey this afternoon to see HMS Queen Elizabeth alongside in Liverpool today, my first sight of her. Hope to see her set sail tomorrow.

My FIL had some halfwit convinced it was Russian defecting.

You "Blokes" got it all wrong......it's "Ferry Cross The Mersey", not Elizabeth.......Gerry and the Pacemakers, if memory serves! Think I was about 15 at the time. :tongue-out2: Rick H.
