Hello my friends! Recently I bought this kit from eBay. Year1978, but verry good plastic! the level of the details is high, I like it, but, the only think I don't like is the look of the deck once you is painted. So , I had to find a way of making this beautiful model to look better. I hope that this project will be a success. Did I mentioned that tis is a combined effort again? like the idea of replanking the deck as well should turn out well,

Looking good so far. The wooden deck will enhance the model no end. At that scale there are many metal replacement parts that would look better than the plastic, if you want to go that far. Model Expo, Bluejacket Ship Crafters, Loyalhanna Dockyard and MANY others have all the stuff. Eyebolts, blocks, and deadeyes are good things to replace as is the rigging thread that comes with the kit.
