Just some careful painting from my part - Flyhawk is to commend for all the details. I am tempted to buy their HMS Prince of Wales and just releases Bismarck, though I'd rather wait for Tirpitz if it would be released later.

          Some further progress

          Bow area finished

And the ship itself, apart from the masts and rigging

Hi Seb, I have always wanted to know what this is...are you able to tell me? It's also found on the Flower Class bridge.

Looks like the type 271 surface search radar housing? Fitted to escort ships...made of Perspex though, not metal...

Hi Tim, thanks...now wonder it's so covered up in a cylindrical cage.

                Cheers,
                Richard

Yep, fitted directly above the radar room ‘coz they hadn’t worked out how to make longer cables yet....

A little more progress - masts have been attached and she's ready for rigging now.

My spiders have been busy for the past few days and I'm calling the rigging done. Probably not entirely accurate as I had no rigging diagram and I had to rely on a few low-res historical photos of Arethusa class cruisers and box artwork.
Next step - #fixthatshit ; removing "battle" damage that happened during rigging, some touch-ups, some further weathering and adding Royal Navy flags.

                            Hi Seb
The spiders have done a great job. Rigging is always tricky. This looks very good.
