HOORAY ive got it down to one pic on site an here all paper has been removed
an its come out reasonable but now ive got to let the paint harden for a day or so then it will be the really hard part of tryin to paint on the black water line strip so its back to the garage to do more markin out for that an then maskin up again oh i'll be bloomin glad when i get this done as its still fairly cold wheather an im lucky to be able to spray paint at all so fingers crossed i can do this black line an get it to come out out ok

Just wondering, how can you be sure that you've got the line in the right place - or is it that is where it should be, so you add ballast to sit it lower in the water (knowing me, I'd probably end up with it an inch out of the water, or under it!)

HI Gerry well with these big models you cant be sure that its the right place as remember you can scale build the model but you cant scale the water as that what the real ship floats in so ive done what i always do on my other builds an measured out the centre of the black water line from the plans an hope that its not to far out as its a big hull so plenty of boyuncy an when she in the test tank then i'll find out wheather she is sitting to high so more ballest or if to low then ive got to lighten her an she has to pass all the tests of leaks in the hull an then the anti- roll test as well so a lot still to do
                but thanks for your intrest

Easier to add than to lighten, obviously - if you ever need any lead, got plenty of scrap here (do a fair bit of airgunning, and clean the traps out of spent pellets - got a small ammo box full (over 20kg?)!
