This epic build throws up obstacle after obstacle and you overcome each one with real ingenuity. It really is an inspiration seeing this build unfold. I’m sure the gun fire issue will be resolved with equal expertise and competency form your good self.
The cat looks fairly content with the way things are going!
All the best

Suggestion for wasps . (Removal of ) saturate area with petrol, allow to soak into soil.
Light and stand clear of evacuating wasps. Having left the petrol soak into the ground it will be like a Benghazi burner . The petrol will burn slowly drawing up through the soil like a wick. Be aware of walking on the burning soil, this can set fire to your shoes , creating more havoc as you walk on that new carpet !
Chris .Glad to read you have nearly passed the tea making for visitors, this can be very stressful as the real test will be if they return to see Jen. You will of course have written down all the amounts of milk , sugar and strength of each visitor ,if this has been done you will have completed the Tea Making for Beginners . TMB can be written behind your name . If not I suggest you leave at once and join the foreign legion !Comment

This is how you deal with your wasp nest issue Chris. Find the nest, identify the entrance….wait until nightfall (wasps don’t fly at night), shake the bottle well, and then give it a good squirt of this stuff…
You will get powder all around the entrance and as they go in and out they will take the stuff into the nest. After a day or so they will all be dead. No more nest. I’ve used it a couple of times and it works very well….Comment

This is what can happen when you try this:Suggestion for wasps . (Removal of ) saturate area with petrol, allow to soak into soil.

I have heard that a cup of petrol in the nest entrance will kill them all, without setting it on fire. Sorry to spoil your fun JR!

Arg the pour it on and not waiting trick Peter. This is a recommended way with out the use of explosives , great for forming ponds . If he had allowed it to soak in , and you only need a small amount , then it will burn with a gentle flame . We used to fill a empty 5 gallon drum with sand or soil , pour in a small amount of petrol , allow it to soak in fully before it was lit .A poke with a stick would allow air in and the flame would increase . This man must have poured a large amount into the nest and then lit it , quite an example of not how to do it !
Best part was the dog turning a way after the failure ! :smiling3::smiling3::smiling3:Comment
