Excuse us Bob.
Paul , Jim put me on to Gator Glue works well . Unfortunately don't think the guy produces it any more because of bad health . Think normal PVA would do just as well for some things .Comment

Specsavers others are available :smiling3:. Bob back on page 5 .
From Ian's post
Good tip about the glue brush as well. I have problems with the Tamiya stuff getting to the stuff in the bottom!
A rather good 'tool' to have at hand, for normal glue, CA. etc. (thin glues designed to wick) is a thing called a Glue-looper

Hang about! You put wood decking down then painted them?
Now you going to paint them again to look wooden?
My head hurts!Comment

Mine too
Going to put down wooden deck, then use lifecolor deck stuff to weather it. Seen a picture of Rodney's main guns, it also shows the worn and weathered deck planks, will post the pic
Will take ages though!!Comment

I have the ones with Micro filler. (apparently).
I think I remember why I stick to the plastic decks now. Mind you, as a deck stain strong black tea is rather good.
BEFOR you go painting your decks, remember that the time period you are building KGV did not have painted wood decks. Only the steel decking was painted.Comment

bit of confusion sorry, not painting the decks but trying to weather them
great picture of the sheer power of HMS Rodney's monster 16" guns, note the deck planks and the different shades, this is what I hoping to get close to using Lifecolor deck liquid pigment stuff, hoping is of course the word lolComment
