Got some more done today, the upper decks painted, will gloss coat and do and oil wash and weather next. The main deck has been masked and the hull given a coat of black, next job is to mask off the bootline and paint some hull red.Click image for larger version

Thanks Chris :thumb2: its not that i find railings particularly easy its just i dont worry to much if there not 100% perfect because i know they should get better with practice, if i concern myself with perfection i will never finish anything lol
She had 8 inch main guns.

Got some red on the hull, probably should have been a bit of a brighter red but its a big improvment on what trumpeter would have you paint it which would have been cocoa brown, more suitable for jap ships. Im gonna try to weather it, once i checked out some utube videos anyway Click image for larger version

Bit more done, fitted the railings and then painted the grey on the hull. Structures just dry fitted at the moment.Click image for larger version

Dang Mark, it looks like I'm late getting down to the docks. A great looking floaty boaty thing you're building here Sir!!! That is some really nice etch work and the wood decking looks good too. Now, the big question is.......How much did Chris bribe pay you to go over to the floaty side???......Keep it coming!!!

                            Prost
