Damn 'Admiral' Bob, you guys are not getting a break from bad news, at all. So sorry to hear this new prob with your mom. Hoping & wishing all the best for her and for you my friend. Oh and a happy birthday to Julie too. It probably wasn't too happy though...............

Finally dragged myself back to the mighty Hood. Sorry for the total lack of progress but other things on my mind. This might take longer to build than the actual ship lol
So started to remove the horrible degaussing cables as the Eduard set has pe ones which are much better. In between hospital visits I have been watching a few ship builds on YT, and thankfully the builders have built the ships slowly and passed on some very useful techniques! Greatly improved my sanding and the need to do a lot more prep on the hull!
This took ages but will get there, also various sink marks and scratches to also sort out. Surprised how poor the hull is
