HI Joe i dont know about a women magnet lol or master modeller lol but it seems to me that women are always more instersted in the ship models than the men as she was the lady who i was tryin to talk to when i hit the wall an god what a bang it made as several people freinds an the public came racein down to have a look at what id done to the ship but thank goodness i build them stronge an only losse railing an a couple of fair leads came lose which wont happen on my tiger as they have steel pins drilled through them an gluded to the deck an thank you sir for your admiration

WELL steven it happens with me as ive got hearin probs an a hearin aid stuck in me ear an a lot of the time i have to lip read not very good at it but thats the reason i hit the wall as yes the young lady was tailkin about my ship so i think its only polite to answer her as some people dont answer if someone comes up to talk about their model whitch to me is just bein rude an that will put of the general public askin about these model which in my book is wrong as we need all the support we can get an yes its great when we all meet up an bring our top models to sail on this wonderfull pond as some come a long way to sail on norwich pond

AN HI Ian yes some of them models are 30 odd yrs old but still sail well an they are kept in cases to stop dust build up an yes accordin to the wheather lot we should have had pourin rain but it dint as just had a litte shower about 5 mins then the sun came out all day so pleased to to share the pics with you all to help this new forum up an running

AN YES Jim there were some crackers of models but quite a few dint come proberly thought it was goin to rain bloomin wheather lot always spoils it as some of these model cost thounds of pounds so members wont come only to find out afterwaerds they missed a great day

As for the damage, well all sea going vessels pick up the odd dent or two !

HI Colin thank you sir for your nice comments on my norfolk an yes all ship sooner or later will get a dent or two but thankfully there was just a few bit shook losse on the bow due to the collishion an the shock wave went right through the ship as i was 60 odd ft away an even i c uld hear the bang but its all fixed now an she is ready for her next sortie lol

AN Steven cant do a drop ankor to stop the ship as the pond floor is concreate an smooth so nothing for the ankor to grab onto as ive treid havin a ankor drop on my big USS NIMITZ an dint even slow it down so that idea was taken out of the ship to save on wheight as nr 4 ft of chain is quite heavy but thank you for your input sir

AN HI Steve yes ive got a canon camera an it does take good pics an glad it made you laugh with that youg lady talkin as its very nice to talk to the fairer sex but just have to watch out for jen seein lol an yes im very happy with how norfolk turned out after 3 yr build an workin features
