    Allen,
I know you are not looking for thanks for posting these pictures, but thank you any way my friend for taking the time and effort in doing so. There are some superb builds on show there.

      Stevie and Paul,

You are most welcome and again I am most happy to do it. The show is huge, but the WME (World Model Expo) coming in July is bigger and held in the same place as this one. It is 3 days long and they are expecting around 2500 entries into the competition. I will be a very busy beaver with the camera once again. I also plan on entering a few things in the comp.

If there is any way that you could attend this show, do it. The downside is all the hotels around the area are booked out. I made my reservations for my hotel before I left after the show last October. Something to seriously think about...…..

Stevie, the judging takes place between 1500 on Saturday until 1000 on Sunday. There are quite a few of them and they have teams for each category. Still it must be hard…...……….
Life's to short to be a sheep...

Thanks Allen. I noticed some V2 dios that must have caught your eye. The doughs going over the top would have gotten my vote! The compo & modeling was just over the top:smiling:. PaulE

Dude 1, spell bounding dioramas, for me so many but perhaps the sub on top of the wave.
Thank you for taking the time to take and post all those. As Steve has said what a high standard of work, I also noticed as Paul the V2 ones , you must have been dribbling by then :smiling3:

Allen, here is a pic. looking west from my front deck...not a lot of folks or city lights out there sir. It is at least 15 miles across Flathead lake from this vantage point. Really hard to live with:rolling: lol. Never tried the echo thing but it wouldn't surprise me if it took that long.

Allen, I was already drooling by the fourth set of pictures when you were posting and nearly broke the request not to comment with a ...Oh My God!!! Really nice of you to snap these goodies...I know how easy it is to forget photographing while taking in each display. You're one lucky devil as many have said to be near these World Class events.

Haven't picked my favorite...let me pour into the pics again...slowly.:smiling2:

                    Cheers,
                    Richard

This one was well done, but there are a few things that are incorrect for Op Backfire and not in the film either. The trailer towed behind the tank truck is a fire department pumper and the generator trailer was not on the launch pad site. It was near the Sd Kfz 7 launch halftrack a few hundred meters away...

The Krupp towing the launch platform (in 1945???) is totally wrong and never used. A tactical V2 unit's rockets were painted field green too. The dios were very nicely done though....

And one for Chris (Boatman) in a bigger size. Enjoy!!!

Richard, take your time and enjoy my friend. You get to go to some top shows on your end too. In July, there is the World Model Expo 2020 at the same place in Holland. I do hope to get more pics as this show is bigger than the rest. I do need a new camera as I noticed my old Sony is not as good as it once was, hence some blurry photos (it's over 12 years old). Take care...

If any one else would like a picture in normal format, just holler and I will try to oblige or send it in a PM....

                      Prost

Hi Allen, yes that was my best hunting buddy. Best Breed I ever owned and an absolute hunting fool he was. All I had to do was reach for my shotgun and he'd be up and jumping four feet high! My best friend owned his litter mate... They were known as Skeezix and Billy Bob.

Some people are gifted with the ability to construct something like that Das Boot and the trench.

                              Hi Allen
Just spent a really pleasant hour at the big screen computer. What an amazing show. The variety of models was stunning. Absolutely mind blowing quality and imagination. The one that stands out for me, not for size or skill, was this. A model that really makes a statement.
