Excellent news!!! You're right on the door step then! I used to work in St Albans and occasionally frequent Hemel Hempstead on nights out many years ago!

I'm there with New City Scale Model Club (from MK). Last couple of years we've been in the second hanger behind the one where they open the doors. I think more or less opposite the De Havilland Racer. Look out for the the below banner. I'll have a greenish Mercedes soft cap on and be in shorts of some sort.....
