Good to meet with Andrew and Junior today. I made a point of charging my camera battery, and a spare, yesterday - then forgot to take it! :rolling: Phone battery was a bit low so I didn't take any photos.
I was very good, and didn't buy any kits, tempting though many of them were. Just bought a couple of bases, some cement, and some masking tape. Renewed my SVAS membership too.
There were some stunning builds on display.

It was great to put a name to a face and have a bit of a chat. Hope to see you again sometime at another show.

Can you remind me of the name of the military show you told me about near to you? I should have written it down but forgot!

 Andrew

LloydWas great to be there, a lifetime of efforts and patience on display, total respect to everyone's work

Thanks Andrew, looking fwd to seeing them .Hi John

It's a little bit SE of Bedford. Understand as it's a long way to go. I must admit we do very few shows, in part due to family life.....MK is the only one I've been too and this wil be my first time going to Shuttleworth. Will try to get loads of pictures.

 ATB.

Andrew, the military vehicle show I was talking about is Tanks, Trucks and Firepower. Held just south of Rugby over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Great show, very friendly, not just tanks but re-enactors, artillery, command trucks, even a few classic cars! More details at https://tanks-trucks-and-firepower.co.uk/

Another couple of modelling show fliers I picked up at Shuttleworth:

Lloyd, thanks for posting your photos. Did you get any pics of those 1/6 scale RC tanks? There were 4 or 5 there, dwarfed a 1/16 scale Tiger! Apparently they weigh about 250kg eack, although mostly made of aluminium.
