Well I’m in. Is there any way I can view posts on a topic as a thread rather than having to troll through them all individually?

Sorry John, can’t do a snapshot. What I am getting is just the post I’m looking at with a “previous/next” tree below it listing each post as a separate page. I think Jim has cracked it, showing a certain number of posts per page, but I don’t seem to have that option in my profile page. My profile page also appears differently to the image in your first post. I get a drop down menu with the various options, not a set of clickable tabs.

Sounds like you may have the same screen as me Tim, click on user settings then you should see a drop box that says profile, click that then click account,scroll down the page and you should find the pages displayed bit.

Yay….sorted…..mine was in a drop down menu not a tab. It was set at forum default. Forum default seems to be set at one post per page as well…..

I just clicked on the next a few times and all the comments in the thread came to light.

One minor thing I've noticed, that may well shake itself out, is a varying font size between messages.

OK. I have sorted out the login.
Then I have tried to post in what I have recieved today, only to be able to either use a stamp sized image or one that you can only see part of the image. And when I change the image size to either Medium or Large - Save. I then get the message to click on the image to resize it - well, if I click on Large, Medium or Small I am sure that in the beginning that should re-size the image without the need for the robot to tell me again to click on the image blah blah blah!!!
And finally, I would like to read all replies to a subject and not go read, click, read, click, read, click to see what other members have written.
Well, as I stated on the forum before we changed to this one, I would see what it is like, have a look around, try a few things and then comment.
Comment - It is not working for me as far as user friendly goes, I might as well be on X or some other chat forum.... So, sorry this forum in its current form is not for me. Please remove me from this forum Goodbye.

Images are one of the areas that John has warned there will be teething problems with. I think that you need to give it time and just play with it while you figure things out. I'm sure that right now we are all, including me, flapping about like a fish out of water.

John it would appear that my last post has gone walkies that was the one for the Tamiya 1/35 scale Comet Tank appears to have disappeared so does that mean I have to repost the whole thing again or is it gonna make a reappearance?
