If the T-35 builds as well as their 1:72 T-90 then it’ll be a cracking little kit! Will have to keep a look out for this once it’s released :smiling4:

It makes me wonder if they moulded all the track links individually, because I can’t see many other ways in which a 1/72 scale kit can get to that parts count otherwise.

Also, it reminds me that I have a mostly finished 1/35 scale ICM (I think — it’s not Zvezda) one somewhere Comment

Jakko,
the ICM T-35 is old generation Eastern European (1998 ) - I made this a few years ago, and it suffered from an amazingly warped top hull - I had to epoxy it to an aluminium bar to get it straight. I found out later on that virtually every one sold had this curious fault. The Zvezda model dates from 2016, and it has link & length tracks, and little interior, but still manages to have 440 parts....................

That sounds about identical to the ICM kit … except that has separate-link tracks, I think. I should really just finish it someday soon.the ICM T-35 is old generation Eastern European (1998 ) - I made this a few years ago, and it suffered from an amazingly warped top hull - I had to epoxy it to an aluminium bar to get it straight. From the Zvezda Facebook page - almost like they have been reading the posts here - sprue shots for the 1/72 T-35 - there will be duplicates for the tracks/links sprues
It does look very much like the 1/35 version, apart from the springs/suspension being simplified! The frame aerial - picture 3, top left, - complicated moulding
And this is from the Zvezda 1/35 version

Dave gave up 1/72 and 1/48 , only build 3 models, too small for me these days even with all the optivisors .
Would like the 1/35 though. On the list.

Beware that it’s BIG if you do. (Though I’m tempted to buy a Char 2C kit simply because it’s the biggest tank ever ) )Comment

Yup, quite big here it is in comparison with the Zvezda 1/35 Panther D................

I did make - or started to make the Char 2C, but for some forgotten reason, it's still unfinished!

As a by the by this is a link to a YouTube vid YouTube Panther The Trumpeter 1/16 Panther, and what is in the box - now, that's BIG I'd have to convert the spare bedroom to build it, let alone display it over 2000 parts & a complete interior - whew! Prices seem to be around the £275-300, which I suppose isn't bad value for the size of the thing
