I've just watched The Ecstacy of Wilko Johnson, which is rather good. Rather pretentious (it's introduced by Alan Yentob and directed by Julien Temple, so to be expected), but it's worth a watch if you're already a Wilko fan.Comment

I'm not sure Tim, I'm not a big fan of the Beatles so I don't have any of their records. I do have an autographed copy of "Lennon in his own write", but he autographed it "To Bill, with love from Mum" so it's pretty much worthless.

Not worthless. Almost any genuine Lennon autograph is worth a few bob, £50-£100.

Obviously, you can add a few zeroes for something like a signed set of lyrics or 'artwork'!

As a very green young man I did some shows with Wilko, post Dr Feelgood, when he had his own band, the 'Solid Senders' (with Steve Lewins (Sp?), also no longer with us).
Wilko was a gentleman in all the dealings we had with him, not as far up his own behind as many I could mention, and a much under rated guitarist.Comment

Just browsing the forum and came across this one.
I remember seeing Dr feelgood live and was fascinated by the way Wilco strutted the stage while playing great guitar :astonished:Comment
