They aren't really for anything, the .net I've had for a while and the .eu I've just bought, I thought it would be good to have as we do have people from all over the world and of cause that includes the EU, if I could get the .com I would have that as well
also it doesn't do any harm having more than 1 url when it comes to search engine rankings.

i think some of these big firms buy a loads of domain names they know will be popular so when someone wants it they can charge stupid amounts for them!Comment
