    Needle setup

I am having trouble with my setup of needle in a harder and steenbak airbrush . If you push needle as far as it will go
Into nozzle , does this block the hole .

Yes, but it is supposed to. That is how a double action brush stops paint flow. Pulling back the trigger pulls the needle back in turn, so opening the paint flow. I don’t have an H &S brush but I would expect all double action brushes to be the same. I would therefore set up with the needle pushed into the nozzle on reassembly....then tightened to the trigger mech...

I would agree, I have a Harder and Steenbeck Ultra 2 in 1 and that's how it should be, down for air back for paint flow, try it without paint and you'll see the hole open as you pull back on the lever. Takes some practice to get the balance right but it's worth it for the results you can get and I'm a novice.
