What colour to paint area behind pilot - Tempest?

Quick one, colour suggestions for the area behind the cockpit and under the canopy?

I would also go for interior green, just took a look at an instruction-page for a 1/72 IB, that one says "humbrol 78 Cockpit Green Matt"

was trying to decide between the interior green or a dark charcoal grey.

Is that a photo of a restored plane? Then you can’t trust it if an authentic finish is your aim

Brilliant many thx for this - in particular the view of the canopy rail and the "rectangle" twds the fwd.
