    Cadmium colour

Does anyone know if there is an acrylic paint out there that does a Cadmium (yellowish) colour? I am thinking of the colour that you normally find cadmium coated parts.I can't seem to find any.

OK…….so you are after the “egg yellow” one…..

There are two listed here, PY35 and PY37. Looks like the Vallejo Game colour range is what you need….

I think Sun yellow would do the former, and Gold yellow would do the second. Being yellow you will have to underpaint in white to get a truer colour rendition though. Yellow is notoriously transparent.

Seem to be a few variations, but this is the one I was thinking of…

I would say any green on the yellow side (like the old Humbrol grass green) would do you. Vallejo don’t seem to make one. Intermediate green in the model colour range would be closest. I would add a spot of the yellow to it to get a more “grassy” colour if it were me though.
