If you want a PSU Bart, check out the computers that are u/s on eBay. Most of them still have their power supply.

It's where I got mine & I paid 99p for the computer!

My project is finished.

I haven't found any used PSU's so decided to plug into my PC I've checked the voltages and power use and it's all right and safe to use. So I bought a cable and a three way switch for high currency (pic.3) also took a molex connector from my endless stash. I made a hole in my PC case and fastened the switch. I have two different speeds (5V - slow, and 12V - fast) Work like a charm. The only downside is, the vent pipe is 6in in diameter, so when I take it outside the window I have to open it really wide.

Bart i would use the slow speed on your fan.

If you look at a shaft of sunlight it highlights all the hairs and bits in the room. The fan will attract all of that rubbish into your booth.

Good idea to spray water in the room just before airbrushing it takes all the junk to the floor.

@Laurie: First use was like this, but now it's ok I must say. Slow speed isn't good enough to be honest. With the filter on, it couldn't handle the capacity of the cloud while putting on the primer. I switch it on first, let it work for a minute or so, clean the model and then paint. So far, no rubish or anything on the model. Oh wait, one bit. But it's much much better than I used before, where it was really bad sometimes.

Actually Bart I have an Expo which has a filter. This is for use when the air is recirculated in the room. But as it is all taken to out side I removed the filter as they recommend.

Create build Bart, looks superb and if it works then it works, why spend more than you have to. Nice, like it a lot.

A tip which may be of use Bart. I line the floor and sides with white blotting paper. Easy to keep clean absorbs paint immediately etc and provides a reflective finish which helps when spraying.

@Laurie: thanks for tips. I didn't even think about the not using the filter, but it makes sense. About the paper.. I'd like to paint it inside with white appliance paint, so it will be glossy and easy to clean like a fridge or something.

@eddiesolo: Thanks. I actually spent a bit too much. It still is imo much better construction than cheaper expo. Of course it will be upgraded in the meantime
