Bulk parts need

I am doing a scratch build of a ship. Yeah, yeah. I know. This is the Train Help forum. Except, the scale I am using for the scratch build is 1:22.5, aka G scale used by LGB and Bachmann.

I am looking for building parts, like external wooden walls, porches, corrugated roofs and the like. If I use only the building kits, we're talking around $120 per building, and that adds up fast.

Can anyone direct me on this?

Building Parts

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and I thought this question would be a good entry, as I'm modelling in 1:22,5 as well.

For my buildings I like to use the plastic veneer sheets from

Aiii - Precision Products - Plastic Veneer (PV) Sheets - G and H Scale, 1/2 inch scale

They are offered as 1:24 but they work also very good for 1:22,5 .

I am building a harbour layout in the 1920's and I will need a ship for my quay (that is still to be build). So Jflex, have you already a picture or drawing of the ship you like to build? I am very interested in what you are building there.
