Just found this thread, could'nt resist reading all the comments...those pictures and videos of your layout are amazing. I found i was being drawn into an alternate reality, brilliant stuff. then you showed us the origins and all the Trucks Cars and Trains are seen sitting on a table, loved it mate ,

Thanks so much for the nice complement I really appreciate it I’m glad you like it. When I work on my layout I do it for satisfaction to myself but when I get a complement like yours it’s worth the hard work.

I Got mostly from my Dad he lived in that time frame. He also was a Trucker back in the early 50s to the late 90s so that helped too. He drove a truck identical to this Mack H around 1963 that’s where I got the inspiration to build this one.

Absolutely LOVE this… takes me back to the days visiting with my grandfather who built a replica of a town here in western PA with a train layout that surrounded and ran through town. He even built some of his own rail cars…thanks Lee
