Hi all , the other print size is far too small and thin to read for me so found this. Just wish I could keep it with out prating about every time.

Having looked at the first fronts I scrapped them all and started again.
Have now worked out a far better system for doing the cut outs , sealing the raw edges with pva . Stops all that breaking up of the foam board face.

Have a new scriber on order , Olfa , that should be here to morrow so then can start the doors.

The tape is to stop any pva from going on to the board.

Window and door frames in, doors just inset. Film done for the windows, pleased with this.

The missing gun handle has turned up , yes JIM @jim I do have the odd clean up !

Comments more than welcome. Thanks for looking in.

Been slowly getting the windows glued up and first coat of primer on.
Decided to try Night Shifts method of using Tamiya thin to coat the foam board , insted of wall filler.

Seems OK but the smell means I have to keep the cave door open , can't see this working in the cold weather.

20240927_175539.jpg do I apply another coat of Tamiya.

Thanks for looking in,comments wellcome .

Have decided to start all the buildings again, not please with the filler I've tried on the foam board. Very much a learning experience. So back on the net to 4D model shop for another purchase of board and Styrofoam.
The Tamiya filler didn't work well on the board , if however I'd used Styrofoam it might have been better, can see its use, but on Kappa Line its just not right. Live and learn !

Shame it didn't work John but "Nothing ventured, nothing gained".

Indeed Jim, still I managed to learn and had a lot of practice cutting up the board .
Have ordered from 4D some white Styrofoam, very smooth. Enough to give quite a few 5 mm thick sections if I slice it up.
Also some chepo 5 mm foam board for backing .
