Wow Chris this really is a monster of a kit. I love watching your builds come together with all the lighting you install.
HI Mick yes love makein these big kits in ships an planes an this is the biggest plastic ship kit ive ever built an i enjoyin it as there is plenty of detail but thinking about models this is a tiddler comparded to my nimitz or the tiger or the norfolk an yes more lighting but im not goin overboard on this lighting as she is suppoced to be on a secret misshion in hostile waters but she get caught so dolittle an his bomber crews have a longer flight which for some of them crews was a very sad ending
THANKS for stoppin to have a look see on the build an there is plenty of more of the build to come

G/M GUYS
well ive had the kick in the pants from jen lol an at 9-30 this morn ive been up to the model room an lightly sanded down the p/e so the light grey spray paint has something to stick too an its now dryin off for a couple of hrs with the windows slightly open to let the paint smell out so im off again with mojo intact

weird never known a cat like her lol an yes today i got off my butt an fitted 2 lots of P/E ON THE HORNETS BOW an by god its thin an very fragile took me all this afternoon to fit it till i got the shakes but at least i dont have to worry about painting them as it would be very awkward to do so when glued to the ship an some pics of them p/e railings not finished but it finished me today

Nice work Chris. I have a seat next to my desk specifically for one of my cats who follows me everywhere. She likes to sit and observe my building and loves a good podcast. I send her out when I paint though, not just for fur reasons, but the fumes. Haven't found a respirator for a cat yet :D

Wonderful work. Always really interesting to follow a build of yours. So big and the extra complication of the electrics. Despite it's size there seems to be a lot of tiny, fiddly parts.

Chris, no problem mate, I know what you mean. PE can be very frustrating. I always find that if it's not going right just walk away have a cuppa then go back. The other thing i will say that you probably know already is make sure you remove all the dry CA before trying again as CA won't stick to dry CA. Apart from that your skills will win through.

Dont stress yourself Chris. I hate PE at the best of times. Whatever you do just keep the build enjoyable.

THANKS Scottie for your kind reply an this p/e is so fragile if i treid to rub off the old C/A the p/e would be unreconiseable its terrible lord know how Bob can get nice bends an straight p/e on his models all i can think his must be stronger p/e
cheers for your reply sir
